A Workshop on ResearchXplore: From Idea to Innovation
The Department of MCA in association with IIC, Hope Foundation’s Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), Ratnagiri, successfully organized a Three-Day Workshop on “ResearchXplore: From Idea to Innovation” from 13th July 2026 to 15th July 2026.
The workshop was conducted to guide MCA students in developing quality semester research projects and enhancing their research and innovation skills. The workshop schedule included sessions on research methodology, literature review, AI tools for researchers, research paper writing, plagiarism awareness, journal selection, and intellectual property rights.
The primary objective of the workshop was to help students understand the complete research process—from identifying a research problem to publishing quality research work. The sessions focused on selecting suitable research topics, conducting literature reviews, identifying research gaps, preparing research papers, using AI tools ethically, understanding plagiarism, selecting journals, and creating awareness about copyright and patents. Students also received practical guidance on transforming innovative ideas into meaningful research outcomes.
The workshop featured expert sessions by Prof. Waman Parulekar, Prof. Harshada Salvi, Prof. Tejas Joshi, and Prof. Ravindra Kerkar. The resource persons shared their expertise through interactive lectures, demonstrations, and practical examples. They encouraged students to develop innovative project ideas and emphasized ethical research practices, academic integrity, and intellectual property protection.
