Parents Meeting AY 2025-26

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) successfully conducted an offline Parents’ Meet on April 23, 2026. The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen communication and collaboration between the faculty and parents of SE, TE, and BE students.

The event commenced with a warm and gracious welcome by Prof. Sprooha Athalye, who set a positive tone for the session. This was followed by the introduction of all faculty members to the parents, fostering a sense of familiarity and openness. As a gesture of appreciation and respect for parental support, two representative parents were felicitated with floral bouquets. Subsequently, the Head of the Department, Dr. Yogesh M. Gajmal, delivered an insightful and comprehensive presentation. The presentation highlighted the department’s academic achievements, ongoing activities, student performance, co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives, and plans to enhance student development and employability.

An interactive session followed, providing a platform for parents to share feedback, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions. The session was effectively conducted by the HoD, along with Prof. Swapnali R. Teli and other esteemed faculty members, ensuring that all concerns were addressed and valuable suggestions were acknowledged.

The Parents’ Meet proved to be a highly beneficial initiative, enabling parents to gain a deeper understanding of their wards’ academic progress and overall development. It also reinforced the importance of continuous collaboration between parents and the department in nurturing students’ growth and success.

The event concluded on a positive and encouraging note, reaffirming the department’s commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of students. The Parents’ Meet was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Swapnali R. Teli, Prof. Akshay N. Shetye, and Prof. Mrunmayee M. Hatiskar. The entire event was conducted under the guidance and leadership of Dr. Yogesh M. Gajmal, Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML).
