Report on Parent Meeting (AY 2025–26)
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized a Parent Meeting for Second Year (SE), Third Year (TE), and Final Year (BE) students on 28 March 2026 in the department premises (Seminar Hall EN2/5).
The program was anchored by Dr. S. S. Athalye. The session began with the welcome of parents and an introduction to the purpose of the meeting. Parent representatives and dignitaries on the dais were felicitated by Dr. A. R. Sutar.
Dr. S. V. Chougule, Head of the Department, presented an overview of the department, including vision and mission, academic processes, student performance, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, mentoring system, and departmental achievements. She emphasized the importance of continuous interaction between parents and the institute for the overall development of students.
Class teachers of SE, TE, and BE presented the attendance records and Internal Assessment (IA) marks of the students. All mentors shared details of monthly mentorship meetings, academic progress, and students’ involvement in various activities.
The suggestions provided by parents were valuable and noted for further improvement. The overall coordination, including stage arrangement and sound system, was managed by Mr Sanket Dudwadkar. Arrangements for snacks and tea were efficiently handled by Prof. G. S. Kulkarni and Dr. G. G. Bhide.
Parents appreciated the efforts taken by the department and faculty for the academic and overall development of their wards. They also expressed satisfaction with the teaching-learning process and various activities conducted by the department.
The meeting concluded with a note of gratitude by Dr S.S. Athalye towards all parents for their valuable time and suggestions.
