Team Matador Successful Participation SAE BAJA 2026
Team Matador, a team of FAMT students, successfully participated in E-BAJA 2026, a prestigious national competition organised by BAJA SAEINDIA for engineering students. The event was held at Indore from 5th January to 10th January 2026 and brought together engineering teams from institutions across India. E-BAJA challenges students to design, fabricate, and race a single-seat electric off-road vehicle, promoting hands-on learning and innovation in electric mobility.

The institute was represented by Team Matador, which undertook the complete development of an electric all-terrain vehicle strictly adhering to BAJA SAEINDIA rules and safety standards.
The project demanded the practical application of core concepts of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Control Systems. Students were involved in all stages of vehicle development, including conceptual design, CAD modeling, analysis, fabrication, assembly, testing, and validation.
