About Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department
Electronics and telecommunication have become integral part of our daily lives, encompassing technologies such as mobile phones, computers, laptops, televisions, digital watches, ATM cards, Internet banking, microwave ovens, and various automation and digital communication systems.
Established in 2008, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering aims to develop highly competent professionals in the field. The department offers a comprehensive 4-year undergraduate program with an intake capacity of 60 students.
The department caters to fields of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering such as Electronic Devices and Circuits, Micro-controllers and Embedded systems, Analog and Digital communication, Digital Signal and Image Processing, RF and Microwave, Mobile Communication and Computer Networks and Wireless Networks.
Apart from the core Electronics and Telecommunication courses, department offers courses like IT Infra and Security, IoT and Industry 4.0, Database Management System, Cloud Computing and Security. Cyber Security and Laws.
The department offers an Honours/Minor Degree Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning specifically for academically bright students.
Our well-equipped laboratories are outfitted with the latest computational facilities and equipment, including AI IoT setups, satellite communication trainers, and resources from the Center of Excellence in Computer Vision and Cisco Networking Academy. These facilities significantly enhance students’ learning experiences and prepare them for advanced communication technologies.
The department promote a strong academic culture and provides a supportive environment for both teaching and learning. Our dedicated and experienced faculty members are committed to excellence in education and are instrumental in guiding students through their academic journey.
To ensure holistic development, students are actively involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The department organizes guest lectures, seminars, and workshops led by industry experts, and arranges industrial training and visits to keep students abreast of industry requirements. Internships in relevant industries further allow students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
The Association of Students of Electronics and Telecommunication (ASENT) plays a vital role in encouraging students to organize and participate in events such as technical paper presentations, project competitions, personality development and social activities. These events are designed to enhance their technical, organizational, and professional skills.
Our graduates consistently secure positions in leading companies such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), L&T Infotech, Epic Research, Capgemini reflecting the department’s commitment to providing quality education and career-ready professionals.

It is because of telecommunication engineering, the entire world is connected and we are able to transmit and receive information at any corner of the world. Electronics and telecommunication engineering is an ever growing and exciting field that provides excellent career opportunities in the domains such as: RF Engineering, Transmission technologies, Access technologies (such as 3G, 4G, WiMax etc.) , IP based networks, Network management etc.
The primary objective of the department is to develop competent professional who will be able to contribute effectively to the advancing electronics & telecommunication technologies through quality education and industry interaction.
Department laboratories are well equipped and having state of art equipment to gain practical knowledge of the theory subjects. The department faculties are well qualified and committed to impart the fundamental concepts and the latest trends in telecommunication engineering. The department strives to provide a conductive environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills through additional training programs, workshops, expert talks, industrial visits etc. Department is having good placement record in companies like Vodaphone, Syntel, L & T Infotech, CMS Pvt. Ltd. etc.

ASENT (Association of Students of Electronics and Telecommunication) was formed to give students the opportunity to organize and participate in various technical, non-technical, cultural and social events. ASENT gives a platform for the students to implement the ideas and creativity, show their talent in various events. The Intercollegiate technical event named as ‘TechSpring’ is one of the highlight of the student association.
Main objectives of the Student association:

Laboratories of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
The laboratories have state-of-the-art equipments like Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Fixed-point and Floating-point DSP processor kits, High Frequency CRO and Radio Frequency Signal Generator. The department is equipped with modern experiment setups for Fiber-optic communication, Satellite Communication Trainer, Digital and Analog Communication Systems, Antenna Demonstration setup and Microwave (X-band) Test Bench. Department has industry standard Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design and Fabrication Laboratory for mini-projects and projects with all facilities from film development to etching and tinning machines.
