Department of Information Technology Organizes a Seminar on Payment Solutions
Department of Information Technology organized a Seminar on Payment Solutions on 25th August 2018 for upgrading knowledge in the field of Payment Gateway.
A payment gateway is an e-commerce service that authorizes payments for all kinds of businesses. It is a physical point-of-sale terminal, as one would find in most of the retail outlets. Payment gateways protect sensitive credit card data via special encryption, such as credit card numbers, to ensure that information is transmitted safely from the customer to the merchant, and from the merchant to the payment processor.
Total 42 students of SE, TE and BE from Information Technology Department attended the seminar delivered by Ms. Ankita Singh, Sr. .NET Developer from 4Ever Payment Solutions. Ms. Ankita Singh is alumni of Information Department. The seminar was coordinated Prof. Swati Powar.
