“A Seminar on NPTEL Awareness”
NPTEL Awareness Seminar was conducted for the students of Electrical Engineering on 28th July, 2018. NPTEL is the initiative taken by seven IITs and one IISc and funded by Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) Government of INDIA. These Courses are available online and anyone can access the course at any time at his or her convenience. All the course available are taught by Professors from IIT’s and IISc’s.

Prof. Kiran Keshyagol, Asst. Prof. Dept. of Electrical Engineering, interacted with 79 students from SE, TE and BE in the seminar. He covered the topics like What is NPTEL? To whom it is for? Why NPTEL? and how to register for NPTEL Online Certification Course. It helped the students to know the resources available around us with minimal fees to update their knowledge. All the students participated enthusiastically in the discussion on queries.
