Department of Information Technology conducted Python Hackathon 2K18 for the students of S.E. (IT) to make the students aware of the real world programming projects. The students could also understand how to handle group project in a competitive environment within stipulated time. 70 students participated in the Hackathon organized on March 30, 2018 at Open Source Lab, and Multimedia Lab., IT Department FAMT.

The department has decided to hold at least one one-day Hackathon per semester with following objectives:

| 2. | To make students think on the logic of a Python program within stipulated time. |
| 3. | To make students aware of the real world programming problems and deal with it. |
| 4. | To develop ability to handle group project and complete it in a competitive environment within stipulated time. |
