One Day Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights
One day workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights” was conducted in Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri by Research Development & Consultancy Committee on 24th March 2018. It was conducted for undergraduate engineering students of FAMT.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Dhruv Brahmbhatt, Managing Director and Miss. Pooja Menon, COO of MyCrave Consultancy. In the beginning of workshop, Prof. L D Naiknaware, Member of RDCC welcomed the resource persons and participants. Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT felicitated the resource persons with the bouquet. Dr S S Goilkar briefed about the importance of Intellectual property rights to the participants.
The main objective of this workshop was to make students familiar with the Intellectual Property Rights, which has gained a special importance for all the domains of socio-economic development.
The workshop covered various topics like what is Intellectual property, Introduction to Patent, Copyright and Trademark. The sessions were conducted with the Technical and well known examples and the role of IP in “Make in India” was highlighted.
It helped the students to get insight into Intellectual property rights, Trademarks and Patents. The workshop was attended by highly enthusiastic 75 student participants.
