A Talk on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal Act 2013)
Women Grievance Redressal Cell and Internal Complaint Committee organized a talk on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal Act 2013 in collaboration with Women Development Cell at FAMT IT Seminar Hall on March 14, 2018.
Advocate Sandhya K. Sukhtankar was invited to address the students and the faculty. Dr. Kaushal Prasad welcomed Adv. S. K. Sukhtankar and addressed the students on the occasion. Prof. H. N. Kelkar, Convener, WDC, introduced the guest. Prof. V. M. Kulkarni, Convener WGRC and ICC oriented the audience about the session.
Adv S. K. Sukhtankar explicitly discussed the issue which is increasing at alarming rate and role of ICC in dealing with such issues.
The two teams of students was felicitated on this occasion to voice their concerns and raise awareness on the women harassment on Gang Day during Utopia 2K18 on FAMT campus through posters. Ms Shalakha V Keer, student member of ICC from T.E. Electronics, expressed the vote of thanks. Prof. D. M. Bapat hosted the session. The students of all branches attended the session.
