Farewell Day at the IT Department
The Department of Information Technology, in association with its Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Students Chapter, celebrated its Farewell Day on April 24th, 2026, with a vibrant event running from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, creating a memorable and emotional experience for BE students.
The program began at 5:00 PM with a formal opening. The respected Head of Department, Dr. Vinayak Bharadi, delivered an inspiring speech. He shared valuable guidance, appreciated the efforts of the graduating students, and wished them success in their future careers.
Following this, Gandhar Thate from BE represented the final-year students and shared his thoughts and experiences. His speech reflected gratitude, memories, and the strong bond formed during their academic journey.
To make the occasion more special, the third-year students presented a video showcasing photographs and memorable moments of the BE students. The video beautifully captured their journey, achievements, friendships, and experiences throughout their college life. This segment created an emotional atmosphere and was deeply appreciated by everyone.
The celebration concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, symbolising togetherness and celebration of achievements. After that, refreshments were served.
