A Seminar on CAD and Simulation Software and Its Practical Applications
The First Year Engineering Students’ Association (FESA) organized a Seminar on “Introduction to CAD and Simulation Software and Its Application in Mechanical Engineering” on 24 March 2026 (Tuesday) for first-year Mechanical Engineering students. The seminar aimed to raise awareness of commonly used mechanical engineering software and its applications.
The session was conducted by Mr. Amit Jadhav, who introduced students to various tools such as CAD and simulation software. He explained their basic functions and highlighted their importance in solving real-world engineering problems. Through this seminar, students developed an understanding of different mechanical software, learned to differentiate between CAD and simulation tools, and gained awareness of their practical applications. A total of 80 students participated.
The event was coordinated by Prof. A. Nandhini and Prof. Hemant Chavan, ensuring the smooth conduct of the programme. The session was informative and beneficial for all participants.
