Alumni Session on Career Guidance in Software Engineering
An Alumni Session was arranged on Career Guidance in Software Engineering for Technical Support Jobs in the IT Industry for the third-year IT students of the Department of Information Technology. The event was held on 26th February 2026.
Mr. Gurudev Murkar, working in Turtlemint Fintech Blue Solution, Pune, as Sr. Software Engineer, delivered the session. He discussed current industry requirements and the importance of technical support roles in IT. He shared the technologies students need to prepare for technical support roles, and his expertise on career guidance processes and quality standards in higher education significantly enriched the learning experience. The session was very interactive, and the students were very pleased with the session.
The event was initiated by HoD IT, Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi and organized by Prof. S. Sankareswari. This session was attended by 53 T.E. IT students. All the students expressed interest in attending and benefiting from more such events in future.
