The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) organised an Industrial Visit (IV) for SE/SEM-III, Cyber Security students on 18th September 2025, from 11:30 am to 01.30 pm. The visit was to a solar plant of a pharmaceutical company named VAV Lipids Pvt. Ltd., situated in MIDC, Mirjole, Ratnagiri. Prof. Raju Marag of the Chemical Department and Prof. Mahesh Jadhav of the CSE-Cyber Security Department were the faculty coordinators of this Industrial Visit. 62 students participated in the Industrial Visit.
The Objective of this Industrial Visit was to understand the working principle of solar power generation, to study the components of a solar power plant, to learn about power generation, transmission, and grid integration, to understand plant operation, maintenance, and safety practices, to gain awareness of renewable energy technologies and sustainability, and to strengthen the industry-institute interaction and practical learning ecosystem.
