Expert Lecture on Applied AI in Production
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI&ML), Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri, organised an Expert Lecture on Applied AI in Production on 13th January 2026, for the final year (BE) students. Mr. Azhar Bandri, Chief Operating Officer of Pleximus Inc., Mumbai, was the resource person for this session.
An expert lecture titled “Applied AI in Production” provided students with a comprehensive understanding of how Artificial Intelligence techniques are practically implemented in real-world production environments, focusing on the deployment of AI models, automation of processes, optimisation of operations, and decision-making in industrial and business settings. The session was conducted by industry experts, who shared valuable insights into current trends, required skill sets, job roles, and prospects in these high-demand domains. The lecture aims to familiarise students with core applied AI concepts, real-time data handling, model integration, scalability challenges, ethical considerations, and the impact of AI on efficiency, quality, and productivity across various domains, helping students make informed career decisions.
The event was effectively coordinated by Prof. Shraddha D. Chavan and under the valuable encouragement and support of Dr. Yogesh M. Gajmal, HoD, CSE (AI&ML) & Honourable Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad. The participants showed intense interest in attending such events in future too.
