Extravaganza 2025
The Department of Master of Computer Application (MCA), under the Association of Students of Master of Computer Application (SAM), organized Extravaganza – 2025 on 20th September 2025. The event was celebrated to welcome the first-year MCA students.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Tejas V. Joshi, Head of the MCA Department, Prof. Harshada U. Salvi, Prof. Waman R. Parulekar, Prof. Ravindra V. Kerkar, SAM Faculty In-charge, Prof. Gousia Khanche, Prof. Sanika Joshi, Mr. Sukumar Birje (Lab Assistant), along with enthusiastic students of the MCA Department. Ms. Kshipra S. Upalekar, Student of SYMCA, welcomed the faculty members, staff and students.
As part of the celebration, second-year MCA students arranged a variety of fun games and activities for their juniors. These activities helped first-year students build confidence, encouraged active participation, and promoted interaction with seniors.
The program aimed to promote balanced academic growth through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, improve students’ communication, leadership, teamwork, and personality skills, and foster interaction between first-year and second-year MCA students.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Naziya Khan (SYMCA Student) with Prof. Ravindra V. Kerkar as the faculty in charge SAM. Ms. Kshipra S. Upalekar (SYMCA Student) and Mr. Deep K. Arondekar (SYMCA Student) anchored the program.
The event concluded successfully under the guidance of Prof. Tejas V. Joshi and was well-appreciated by both faculty members and students.
