Induction Program for FYMCA Students
The two days Induction Program for FYMCA was organized by the Department of Master of Computer Application from 19th September 2025 to 20th September 2025.
The objective of the induction program was to integrate the new students into the institution and make them understand the systems and procedures followed by the institution. It will help them to inculcate in them the culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and the faculty members.
Day 1:
The program was inaugurated by the Principal Dr. Kaushal K. Prasad, who also gave a keynote address to the students of First-year MCA. He welcomed all the students and congratulated them for choosing MCA course to build their career. He gave a brief history of the institute and told that how this institute was founded by Late Shri. P. P. Chhabria. He explained in detail about career opportunities available to the students. He explained that how the institute provides the best infrastructure and facilities for the development of the students.
Mr. Gajanan D. Targaonkar, the Registrar, shared detailed information about the scholarship schemes of government, private as well as offered by the institute along with the procedure to apply, documents required, etc. He also shared that the office is always ready to help the students in completing their work.
Prof. Harshada U. Salvi welcomed the principal, faculty members and students. She gave a brief introduction and the objectives and other details of the induction program to the audience. Prof. Tejas V. Joshi, Head of the MCA Department, introduced the Department of MCA to students and explained syllabus and examination scheme to them. He encouraged the students to attend the lectures regularly and study hard. He also shared about the systems and mechanism of the department to ensure smooth teaching-learning.
Prof. Ravindra V. Kerkar shared information about the Student Association of MCA (SAM). He discussed the object of SAM and gave information regarding various events organized by the Student Association of MCA.
Prof. Waman R. Parulekar presented a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, faculty members, staff and students.
