Career Path in DevOps
The Department of MCA, in association with the Student Association of MCA (SAM), Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC), and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized an insightful alumni interaction session titled “Career Path in DevOps” on 4th March 2025 at 4:00 PM in EN 02/06.
The event featured esteemed alumni Mr Azhar Bandri (Chief Operating Officer at Pleximus Inc., Ratnagiri) and Mr Amol Kamble (DevOps Engineer at Pleximus Inc., Ratnagiri) as the guest speakers. The session commenced with a warm welcome and introduction of the resource persons by Prof. Tejas V. Joshi, Head of the Department of MCA. The session saw active participation from both faculty members and 61 students, reflecting a keen interest in emerging career paths in technology.
The interactive session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of DevOps, its core functionalities, and the skill sets required to thrive in this dynamic field. The speakers shared practical insights into the product development life cycle within DevOps, along with a step-by-step roadmap to build a successful career. They also emphasized key technologies and best practices to focus on, making the session a valuable resource for aspiring professionals. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Ravindra V. Kerkar, appreciating the alumni for their time, valuable guidance, and continued connection with the institution.
