On February 17th and 18th, 2025, the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) organized a two-day technical event, MECHOSTAV. The event featured various competitions, including Ideathon, Ecopack, Structura, Mindmaze, and sports events like Futsal and Box Cricket. Additionally, a one-day workshop was conducted for first-year Mechanical Engineering students, focusing on a hands-on demonstration of an engine and its components.
MECHOSTAV was inaugurated by Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal of FAMT, alongside Dr. Milind S. Kirkire, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and Prof. Gayatri M. Kirkire, Head of MESA.
The workshop, guided by the Two-Wheeler Association of Ratnagiri, provided students with a practical understanding of engine construction and the operation of various components. It served as a valuable learning experience, inspiring students to deepen their knowledge of engine maintenance.
