ELECTRA 2025 – EESA’s Tech Fest
The Electrical Engineering Students Association (EESA), Department of Electrical Engineering, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), successfully organized Electra 2025 on the 17th and 18th of February 2025.
The technical festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from 270 students, including entries from other institutions like Gogate Jogalekar College. The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Dr Kaushal Prasad, who lit the ceremonial lamp and delivered an inspiring address. Dr. Jayant Mane, Head of the Department, shared insights into the significance of technical festivals in fostering innovation and skill development. The event introduction was presented by EESA heads, Prithviraj Patil and Rutuja Gunjal, followed by a vote of thanks from EESA Faculty In-Charge, Prof. Nikhil N. Kasar. The ceremony was attended by all faculty members, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
Electra 2025 featured an exciting lineup of competitions, categorized into technical and non-technical events. The technical events included Calci War, Apti War, CAD Race, PCB Design, King of Multimeter, and Tech Treasure Hunt, testing students’ analytical, problem-solving, and technical expertise. On the non-technical side, engaging activities like Glow Cricket and Color Sorting brought a refreshing and competitive spirit among participants. The fest provided students with a platform to showcase their skills, collaborate, and gain practical exposure beyond classroom learning. Each event was meticulously planned and executed, ensuring an engaging and challenging experience for all attendees.
