Industry Expert Session by Adisoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
The Department of Electrical Engineering, FAMT Ratnagiri, organized an Industrial Expert Session by Adisoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. on 21st January 2025. Third-year Electrical Engineering students participated in this program. The session provided an invaluable opportunity for participants to gain insights into current industry practices, emerging technologies, and career development strategies.
Prof. Kishor Bhosale, Head of the Training and Placement Department, delivered the welcome address. In his speech, he appreciated the department for conducting such a program and emphasized its usefulness to the student community. Following this, Prof. Milind Tagare, Associate Professor, mentioned that such sessions are necessary to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. He also emphasized the importance and roles of Electrical Engineering-based industries in modern times.
After the introduction, the session was handed over to the guest speaker, Mr Shashikant Magdum, Corporate Officer at Adisoft Technologies Private Limited, Pune. He delivered a talk on “Application of Electrical Engineering in the Automation Industry.” He began with a brief introduction to Adisoft Technologies, highlighting its core competencies, key projects, and contributions to the industry.
He also underscored the importance of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and other technologies in the automation industry and their development in the current scenario. Additionally, he discussed various types of PLC products such as Allen Bradley and Siemens. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Sudhir Wamane, Coordinator of the T&P Department. Overall, 29 students participated in this event and benefited from it. The session received an overwhelmingly positive response from the participants.
