A Programme on Water Conservation
The Department of MCA and the Student Association of MCA held a Programme on Water Conservation on 19th April 2023 as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) celebration in collaboration with the Indian Coast Guard.
The focus on water conservation, with the theme “जल है तो कल है” is highly relevant considering the importance of water in our daily lives and the need for its responsible use and preservation.The fact that 84 students attended the program, with 25 students coming from the sub-centre of Mumbai University in Ratnagiri, reflects a positive engagement of young minds in such important initiatives. Involving students not only educates them about critical issues like water conservation but also empowers them to become advocates for sustainable practices in their communities.
This event serves as a commendable example of how educational institutions and governmental organizations can work together to create awareness and inspire action on vital issues such as water conservation, contributing to the progress and sustainability of the nation.
