A Mentoring session on ‘My Story: From Idea to Impact – A Motivational Session by a Successful Entrepreneur’

On October 1st, 2024, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC), hosted an inspiring session titled “My Story: From Idea to Impact – A Motivational Session by a Successful Entrepreneur.” The event, was held from 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM, and was organized for all the students of FAMT and compulsory for students of SE and TE CSE (AI & ML). Total 73 students attended the session.

The session was led by Mr. Yogesh Mulye, CEO of Computer Concepts, Ratnagiri, who shared his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting his achievements and challenges he faced while building his successful business. His story offered students a valuable opportunity to learn from a real-life example of turning an innovative idea into a thriving enterprise.

The primary objective of the session was to motivate and encourage students to explore their entrepreneurial aspirations by offering a firsthand account of the entrepreneurial path. Mr. Mulye’s story served as a source of inspiration, showing how persistence and hard work can lead to impactful results.

Additionally, the event aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students by emphasizing key traits such as innovation, creativity, and resilience, an essential qualities for thriving in today’s fast-evolving business environment. To conclude, the event facilitated valuable interaction and networking opportunities. Students had the chance to engage directly with Mr. Mulye and connect with peers, entrepreneurs, and potential mentors. This networking component aimed to build relationships and foster future collaborations, which are critical for entrepreneurial success.

The coordinators of this workshop was Prof. Swapnali R. Teli, Assistant Professor Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) and Prof. Mrunmayee M. Hatiskar, Assistant Professor , Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML). This workshop was successfully conducted under the guidance of Prof. V.V.Nimbalkar, HoD, Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) and Dr. Sandeep Chavada, Dean R & D, IIC Head.
