FAMT Students Won Gold (First Prize) at Konkan Zone Inter-College Table Tennis Tournament

The Mumbai University Konkan-Zone Inter-College Table Tennis Tournament was organized at Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Lanja, from 18^th to 19^th September 2024. This tournament brought together some of the most talented and competitive Table Tennis teams from various colleges in the Konkan zone. Team FAMT represented our college with exceptional skill and determination and achieved a remarkable First Position (Gold) in this prestigious tournament. The team demonstrated outstanding coordination, technical proficiency, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament, culminating in this well-deserved victory.

This achievement would further strengthen the sports culture at FAMT and demonstrate the talent and dedication of our students in excelling not only academically but also in extracurricular activities.

Rathod Jay (FE CSE), Vadake Om (BE CSE), Haldankar Vedant (TE Electrical), Janwalkar Pranav (BE Electrical) and Salvi Aarya (TE Electrical) were the members of the FAMT Table Tennis team. In addition to winning the Gold, two standout players from Team FAMT Mr. Rathod Jay and Mr. Haldankar Vedant have been selected to represent the college at the Mumbai University Inter-Zonal Level Table Tennis Tournament 2024 organized by Sheth N. K. T. T. College, Thane. Their selection is a significant accomplishment, bringing pride not just to the sports department but to the entire college. Team FAMT competed with 4 colleges of Kokan Zone of the University of Mumbai and won the first position.

The entire FAMT community is proud of the team’s performance. This victory is not only a testament to the players’ hard work but also reflects the culture of perseverance and excellence that FAMT strives to cultivate in all areas of student life. We wish our selected players the best of luck for their future endeavour at the inter-zonal level.

This monumental achievement is a reflection of the efforts of both the players and the Sports committee. President Hope Foundation Mrs. Aruna Katara, Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Sports In Charge Dr. P. A. Giri, Registrar Mr. G. D. Targaonkar and all faculty and staff members congratulated the team FAMT for their success.
