A Workshop A Deep Dive into AI and its Application Workflow using MATLAB

A Workshop on A Deep Dive into AI and its Application Workflow using MATLAB was organized by the Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) Department on 18th July 2024 in EN-1/5 seminar hall online mode and on 24th July 2024 in EN-1/3, Computer Lab 4 through offline mode.

Mr. Ankit Kumar, Application Engineer of Design Tech System Pvt. Ltd., Pune delivered the session for T.E. CSE students. The main objective was to provide students an insight regarding the use of MATLAB software for developing algorithms, analyzing data, create AI models and applications. Mr. Ankit Kumar gave an introduction to MATLAB and its application of it for AI & ML through online mode. This session was attended by 54 CSE-AIML students through online mode on 18th July 2024 and 37 CSE-AIML students through offline mode on 24th July 2024. The offline session helped students to learn about Deep Learning, understand Deep Learning Workflow, interactively create and train Deep Learning networks using the Deep Network Designer App, Create an Image Classification Network from scratch, and Use a Transfer Learning Approach to classify a new collection of images.

Prof. Mahesh A. Jadhav was the Workshop coordinator, and the program was initiated and carried out under the guidance of, Prof. Jayant Mane, HoD, Electrical Engineering Department, Prof. D. RajeshKumar Reddy, Electrical Engineering Department and Prof. Vrishali V. Nimbalkar, the Head CSE-AIML Department.
