A Session on Introduction to MATLAB
A Session on Introduction to MATLAB was conducted for SE EXTC students on 23 July, 2024. Mr. Ankit Kumar, Application Engineer from MathWorks Design Tech System was the resource person for this session.
Objectives:

Gain a fundamental understanding of MATLAB Software.

Learn the usefulness of MATLAB Software in various Domains/ fields of Electronics and Telecommunication.
A basic introduction to MATLAB, and its usefulness in domains like signal processing, image processing, control systems, electric machine drives, neural networks, fuzzy logic, wavelets, simulation, etc. were discussed during this session. The resource person also explained how to use Matlab online as well as various online courses available on the MathWorks website.
Dr. S. S. Goilkar, Faculty coordinator of this session, welcomed the speaker and all participants. The session was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department (EXTC), and coordinated by Dr. S. S. Goilkar under the guidance of Dr. S. V. Chougule, Head EXTC Department. A total of 40 participants from SE successfully attended the session. The students actively participated in the Session and shared their feedback on this session.
