Workshop on MATLAB
The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department has arranged A day MATLAB workshop, an Online session on 18 July 2024 and an Offline session on 23 July 2024. This workshop was organized for TE EXTC students.
Mr. Ankit Kumar, an Application Engineer from MathWorks Design Tech System was the resource person for this workshop. This workshop was conducted to provide hands-on experience using Matlab with the following objectives:

Understanding the MATLAB environment

Carry out simple calculations using MATLAB

MATLAB Tools and its Applications

MATLAB Simulink for various applications

Software and Hardware interfacing
Dr. S. S. Goilkar, Faculty coordinator of this workshop, welcomed the speaker and all participants. Dr. S. V. Chougule, Head of EXTC Department, delivered the address for the Matlab workshop. Mr Ankit Kumar explained various toolboxes useful in electronics, signal processing, communication, control systems, etc. A demo of interfacing Matlab to hardware devices was also given by a resource person during the workshop.
The workshop was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department (EXTC), and coordinated by Dr. S. S. Goilkar of EXTC Department, under the guidance of the Head of EXTC Department. A total of 32 participants from TE EXTC completed the workshop. Students actively participated in the workshop and shared their feedback on this workshop program.
