EXTC & IEDC Organised Expert Session on “Project, Product and Research” Opportunities and Outcomes
Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering Department in association with the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Development Cell (IEDC) of FAMT organized an Online Expert Session on ” Project, Product and Research” Opportunities and Outcomes on March 13, 2024.
Dr. Y. Srinivas Rao, Vice Principal, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai delivered this talk.
The students of the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering attended this online session. The program was coordinated by Dr S V Chougule (HoD EXTC) and Dr Sandeep Chawda, Dean (R&D), and with support from Dr V M Galshetwar, Dr. Aswant Sharma, Mr. Sambhare, Mr. Pardule, and Mr. Peje, who assisted in its smooth execution.
Dr. Y. Srinivas Rao discussed India’s Semiconductor Mission and India’s Techade, concentrating exclusively on semiconductors, emphasizing their crucial role and substantial contributions to establishing fab facilities in India for national development. The importance of carrying out good projects by students, and converting the projects into patents was also emphasized during the session. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Sandeep Chawda.
