Expert Session on the Importance of Networking and Linux
On 09th February 2024, an enlightening one-hour session titled “Importance of Networking and Linux” was conducted by Ms Prachi Mule and team from TeleNetworks Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The session, hosted for TE EXTC students, shed light on the fundamental role of networking technologies and the significance of Linux in today’s technological environment.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by Prof. Mansi Kolwankar, who expressed gratitude to Ms Prachi Mule for sharing her expertise with the students. Ms. Mule, a seasoned professional in the field, explored various aspects of networking and Linux, providing valuable insights and practical knowledge to the eager audience.
Throughout the session, Ms. Mule elaborated on the importance of networking in the modern era, emphasizing its vital role in facilitating communication, data sharing, and resource utilization across diverse computing environments.
Furthermore, Ms. Mule explained the advantages of Linux, an open-source operating system renowned for its flexibility, security, and scalability. She illuminated its widespread usage in various domains, including servers, embedded systems, and networking devices, underscoring its versatility and adaptability to diverse computing requirements.
In the end, Dr. S. V. Chougule, on behalf of the institution and the EXTC department, extended a vote of thanks to Ms. Prachi Mule for her invaluable contribution.
