I joined FAMT in 2005, just after disastrous / infamous 26 July 2005 Mumbai Rains….
Full fledged MH CET was introduced for the first time in Maharashtra in the year 2005 & therefore lot of chaos/ confusion was there during our admission & continuous rain was making it further worse. Amidst all of that FAMT- Electrical has been allotted to me as per my MH CET score. For a person born and brought up in South Mumbai, studying in Ratnagiri for 4 years was beyond my imagination but I decided to give it a try to have a different experience.
Trust me first semester was the most difficult phase. Staying away from family, eating mess food, taking care of ourselves…. All these things took some time for me to sink in. But as we make friends our life gets easier. I really started enjoying studies and extra curricular activities offered by college & then next 4 years literally flied like 4 months.
FAMT offers Excellent Team of Teachers, Modernistic Laboratories, Huge Library, Helping Support Staff & Knowledgeable Seniors all under one roof. I thank each and everyone from FAMT who knowingly / unknowingly helped me building me as a person I am today & contribute to my professional career.
Its 2021 now when I am writing this testimonial & its been 12 years since I passed out, but I still visit college once in couple of years. Trust me every time I visit, I find Teachers here are still most welcoming and caring towards us. Visiting college boosts my morale, help me stay grounded & cherish my lifelong memories FAMT has given me.
