Kalakruti 2025
The Kalakruti Art Competition and Exhibition, a vibrant celebration of creativity, was successfully organized as a part of Brainwaves 2025, the annual technical festival of FAMT. Held at A-2/5, Drawing Hall, Admin Block.
The event featured a diverse range of 11 art events, including Painting, Sketching, Best out of Waste, Mobile Photography, DSLR Photography, Rangoli, Mehandi, Pot Painting, Mug Painting, Quilling, Knitting, and Origami. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across Ratnagiri schools, colleges, and FAMT, making it a grand success.
A special highlight of the event was a robot designed by Madhav Sawant and the Team from the EXTC department, which was utilized for the inauguration and for presenting information about all Kalakruti events. The exhibition was inaugurated on 21st February 2025 at 9:30 AM by esteemed dignitaries Dr. Aruna Katara, President HOPE Foundation, and Ms. Amrita Katara, Managing Trustee. Their presence added great significance to the event, encouraging young artists to explore their creative potential. The artworks, displayed in the exhibition, were visited and admired by students and faculty members, who appreciated the remarkable talent showcased by the participants.
The judging panel comprised faculty members of FAMT, who meticulously evaluated the submissions and selected the best entries across various categories. The overwhelming participation of more than 130 students with 275 plus ArtWorks highlighted the growing enthusiasm for art and creativity among young minds. The event not only provided a platform for artistic expression but also fostered an environment of learning and inspiration.
