The department of Electronics and Telecommunication arranged an Expert Talk and a Workshop in collaboration with Qspiders Pune, on Web Development and Software Testing from 20th August 2020 to 04th September 2020.
Initially, the team members of Qspiders Pune conducted two days online expert talk on the Current Trends in Information Technology, Job opportunities as a Software Developer, Software Testing and Automation in Software Testing on 20 and 21 August 2020. The importance and applications of various programming languages like Java, Python , SQL was discussed. In the two days session, the industry experts guided on choosing a proper career path to work in the software field. The students of TE and BE EXTC attended these sessions. The session received good response from students.
Followed by the two days session, a workshop was conducted by Qspiders team from 24 August to 04 September 2020 on the topics like software testing, web development, programming with JAVA, Python, etc. A total of 15 students from TE EXTC attended this workshop which helped them to gain detailed knowledge in programming, testing, and automation and it’s industrial applications.
The workshop was referred by Mr. Suraj Sawant, alumnus of EXTC department. He was placed in Qspider through FAMT Campus placement drive in 2018 and is currently working with Qspider as a Software Development Engineer in Testing.
The workshop was co-ordinated by Prof. M. S. Kolwankar under the guidance of Dr. Sharada V. Chougule, HoD EXTC and with valuable support of Principal, Dr. Kaushal Prasad.
