Workshop on The Research Blueprint: Paper Writing & Copyright Guidance
The Department of Information Technology organized a Workshop on The Research Blueprint: Paper Writing & Copyright Guidance on 27th and 29th January 2025, for the BE students of IT Department, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri.
This workshop aimed to equip students with essential skills for writing high-quality research papers while ensuring compliance with copyright regulations. Participants gained insights into structuring research manuscripts, ethical considerations in publishing, and best practices for protecting intellectual property. A total of 57 Students from BE IT participated in the workshop.
The workshop provided students with a structured approach to writing high-quality research papers while ensuring compliance with copyright laws. It enhanced their scholarly writing skills, improve the organization and presentation of research findings, and foster ethical publishing practices. Additionally, it offers insights into copyright considerations, including proper attribution, fair use, and open-access publishing, to help researchers protect their intellectual property and avoid plagiarism.
Dr. Yogesh M. Gajmal coordinated the workshop under the guidance of Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi, Professor & Head of the Information Technology Department and the encouragement of Honorable Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad. The participants showed intense interest in attending such events in future too.
