One Day Workshop on Introduction to Python Programming
Department of Chemical Engineering organized one day workshop on Introduction To Python Programming for S.E. TE and BE Chemical Engineering students on 14thJuly 2018. Prof Amar R. Palwankar, Faculty in IT department, was the recourse person for the workshop. The objective of this workshop was to introduce Python programming and its application in engineering. Python programming has been recently introduced in Vth Semester Chemical Engineering Curriculum. Therefore, the workshop proved to be useful to understand the concepts of python programing. The workshop comprised of following points with hands-on Python Programming.
- Fundamentals of Python
- Variables
- Expressions and ArithmeticConditional Execution
- FunctionsLists and Objects
Total 32 students participated in the workshop. It was coordinated by Prof Nitin G. Kanse under the guidance of Prof.A. K. Bandsode, HOD Chemical Engineering Department. All faculty members of the department were also present on the occasion. The students enthusiastically participated in the workshop. Prof. Nitin G. Kanse gave the vote of thanks.
