The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri in association with DIYguru Education & Research Pvt. Ltd. conducted a two days workshop on “Electric Vehicle Design & Development” from 20th to 21st September, 2019 for the students of Third year and Final Year Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
This workshop was organized under the Students Chapter – Society of Automotive Engineers (SAEINDIA). Mr. Karthik Raju, MD & CEO, Macaulay Education & Research Pvt. Ltd. along with his colleague Mr. Rajesh conducted it. Prof. Sachin Gurav, the Workshop Coordinator, welcomed the guests. Mr. Karthik Raju and Mr. Rajesh were felicitated by Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal and Dr. Milind Kirkire, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department respectively.
The workshop was conducted in four sessions on two days comprising of theory and designing the components. Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT, spoke about the current scenario of auto sector and importance of involvement of students in such workshops. Dr. M S Kirkire, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department expressed the gratitude towards the guests and students for participation.
