Two Days work shop on “Internal Combustion Engines – Basics, Advanced and Hands-on”
With an objective of delivering advanced knowledge in the field of internal combustion engines and to give hands on experience of assembly-dismantling of engines, the department of Mechanical Engineering in association with SKYFI labs, Bangalore organized TWO DAYS Workshop “Internal Combustion Engines – Basics, Advanced and Hands-on” for Third Year Mechanical Engineering students on 09th and 10th September 2017. Total 54 students registered and participated in the workshop.
On 09th September the workshop was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Milind Kirkire (Head of Mechanical Engineering Department). Mr. Sushanth C (Head Engineering Management Division, SKYFI lab, Bangalore) and Mr. Dhanush S. (Trainer, SKYFI labs, Bangalore) were the resource persons.
On day one, topics like Advanced Ignition, Braking & Exhaust system, Turbo & Nitro charged Engines, Component and structure of chassis, Handling and steering system, Engine Control Unit, Sensors, and Actuators etc. along with detailed design procedure of piston assembly and other engine parts were discussed at length by Mr. Sushanth.
