Industrial Visit to Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur
An Industrial Visit to Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur, was organized by the Mechanical Engineering Department in association with ISHRAE Thane Chapter for the student members on Saturday 5th October 2019. Wilo pump is a subsidiary company of Mather and Platt Pumps Group.
Mr.Deshpande, the representative of Wilo, conducted a very informative session for the students about various types of pumps and the products of Wilo. The students learned the latest technology for different types of the pump such as – Centrifugal pump, forward and Backward curved impellers and their assembly line.
A total of 43 student members of Second and Third-year Mechanical Engineering along with Student Faculty Advisor Prof. Hemant V. Chavan and Prof. Pratik Kamble accompanied the students during the visit. The visit was conducted under the guidance of Ms.Hemalata Patil, Student Activity Chair, ISHRAE Thane Chapter.
