The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department of FAMT organized a valuable webinar on ‘Opportunities for Higher Studies Abroad for Engineering Students’. This webinar was conducted in collaboration with JAMBOREE Education Pune on Thursday, 12 October.

Objective:

The primary focus of the webinar was to:

Create awareness about the multitude of opportunities available abroad for engineering students.
Illuminate the pathway towards career development awareness.

Speaker Profile:

Mr. Rajarshi Banerjee, brought a wealth of experience to the table. With an MBA from Pune University and a BE from Bharati Vidyapeeth COE, he has undertaken various roles within the education sector. As the Business Development Manager of Jamboree Education Pvt. Ltd., Mr Banerjee has trained, and career counseled over 1200 students. His multifunctional experience in the education industry and extensive seminars across varied subjects enriched the students’ learning experience.

An overview of study abroad options specifically tailored for engineering students.
Insights into course options and their correlated future careers.
A detailed explanation of scholarship opportunities.
Clarity on university admissions criteria.
An introduction to entry exams such as GMAT and GRE.
An engaging question and answer session where students had the chance to interact directly with Mr. Banerjee.

The event was coordinated by the faculty coordinator, Mr S S Athalye, under the guidance and motivation by the Head of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, Dr S V Chougule.

Department students actively participated and interacted with resource person.
