FAMT Hosted Interaction Session of Hon. Vice-Chancellor & MU Officials with Students and Meeting with Principals
Prof. Suhas Pednekar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, the University of Mumbai along with Prof. Ravindra Kulkarni, Honorable Pro-Vice-Chancellor, University of Mumbai and officials of the University of Mumbai visited the FAMT campus on Monday 25th April 2022.
An Interaction Session of Hon. Vice-Chancellor and University Officials with the students across all institutes from the Ratnagiri South region of the University of Mumbai was planned by the University of Mumbai at FAMT campus. The Interaction Session started with the university song. Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT welcomed all the dignitaries and narrated the motive of the interaction session. The honourable Vice-Chancellor interacted with the students and answered the queries raised by students regarding examinations and other issues. Hon. Vice-Chancellor also briefed the students about the effects of the pandemic on the education system and the challenges ahead. He also discussed the National Education Policy, skilled-based education, and the academic bank of credit system with students.
Mr Sudhir Puranik, Registrar, University of Mumbai, Dr Ajay Bhamare, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, University of Mumbai, Dr Sunil Patil, Director, Students’ Development, University of Mumbai, Dr Kishor Sukhtankar, I/C Director, University Ratnagiri Sub Centre also participated in the interaction session along with Hon Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Vice-Chancellor. Around 220 students from colleges across the Ratnagiri South region of the University of Mumbai attended the interaction session. The interaction session ended with a vote of thanks.
