Utopia and Brainwaves 2k18
The most awaited annual gathering of FAMT i.e. Utopia– a Cultural Festival and Brainwaves- an Intercollegiate Technical Festival was celebrated on 25th, 26th and 27th February, 2018. On the first day, along with the inaugural function for Utopia and Brainwaves, Founder’s Day was celebrated in memory of the Founder President Late P. P. Chhabria. Padmashree Leela Poonawala was the Chief Guest of the function. Mr. Sameer Dua and Dr. B. B. Ahuja were the guests of honor for the inaugural function. Honorable President of Hope Foundation, Aruna M. Katara, Principal- Dr. Kaushal Prasad and Dean Faculty – Dr. S. B. Kulkarni also shared the dais with the dignitaries.
During the three days full of enthusiasm, many programmes and competitions took place under Utopia. Swarsandhya- Marathi Orchestra, Voice of FAMT- Hindi Orchestra, FAMT Studio- Instrumental and Western Singing, Natyarang- Marathi Dramas, Dances, Fashion, Image, Streeties, Antakshari etc. are to note among them. The days were even celebrated as a part of Utopia such as Rose Day, Chocolate Day, Traditional Day, Gang Day, Mismatch Day and so on. Many students participated in those events to showcase their talent.
Under Brainwaves, many technical competitions like- Paper Presentation, Debate, Group Discussion, LAN Gaming etc. took place. While in Kalakriti under Brainwaves, students showed their creative talent through photography, mehendi, tatoos, rangoli, greeting cards, creative writing etc. Many students from other colleges participated in the competitions under Brainwaves.
The three days of Utopia and Brainwaves manifested the creative and technical talent of FAMT students.
