Address of Hon. Udayji Samant, Higher & Technical Education Minister on Examination Reforms
Hon. Shri. Udayji Samant, Higher and Technical Education Minister of Maharashtra State visited the FAMT campus on 4th April 2022 to address the students regarding examination reforms. During the pandemic, the examinations were conducted in online mode and it is planned to have offline examinations for the upcoming summer examinations of the University of Mumbai. Regarding this, the students of all fraternities from Ratnagiri Taluka were having queries regarding the examinations. Accordingly, the address of Hon. Udayji Samant, Higher & Technical Education Minister on Examination Reforms was held on FAMT campus.
The session started with the national anthem. Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT welcomed Hon. Shri. Udayji Samant and discussed the objective of the event. In his address, Hon. Udayji Samant discussed the need of shifting from an online to an offline mode of examination. He also shared that with this it will be possible to bring uniformity in examinations across all state universities. After the address, an interactions session was conducted in which all the queries raised by the students were addressed by Hon. Shri. Udayji Samant. Shri. Udayji Samant also thanked FAMT for providing the infrastructural facilities for the arrangement of the program.
The program ended with a vote of thanks. The program was anchored by Prof. Darshana Bapat. The infrastructural arrangements were looked after by Prof. Mahadev Naik, Prof. Mandar Joshi, Mr Amey Raykar, Mr Ajay Peje and Mr Dhananjay Pawaskar. The program was coordinated by Dr Milind Yadav and co-coordinated by Mr Gajanan Targaonkar, Registrar, FAMT under the guidance of Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal, Finolex Academy.
