The Mechanical Department organized Three Days Technical Assistance Program

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at FAMT organized a three-day Technical Assistance Program from 4th to 6th December,2024, for Final-Year Mechanical Engineering Students of the MECHATOL Project.

The program was conducted by Mr. Anand Bhise, Director of Mechatol Product Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Pune, for 16 final-year Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) students working on the MECHATOL Project at FAMT—the program aimed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills on essential topics related to engineering project execution.

The sessions covered topics such as Cost Estimation, Welding Cost Estimation, Project Calculation, Material Selection Calculation, etc. The students appreciated the program for its relevance to their MECHATOL Project and its focus on bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications. This program was a valuable initiative by FAMT to provide industry-aligned learning experiences for its students.

The program was successfully coordinated by Assistant Professors P. A. Date and M. S. Padhye, Mechanical Engineering Department under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Kirkire, Dean of Student Affairs (Technical) and the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and Prof. (Dr.) Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT, Ratnagiri.
