TechVenture 2K25
The Association of Computer Science and Engineering Students (ACSES) organized various technical competitions under the TechFest titled “TechVenture 2K25” on 17th and 18th February 2025.
With a lamp lighting ceremony and blessings from goddess Saraswati, respected Principal Dr. K. K. Prasad inaugurated the TechFest on 17th February 2025. The innovative inauguration of TechVenture2k25 was witnessed by the students and faculty of CSE (AI & ML) and other departments of FAMT along with the participants of colleges in and around Ratnagiri. Around 250 students participated in various competitions and they enjoyed all aspects of each competition.
The technical festival provided a platform for students to showcase their technical skills and develop team building and leadership skills. An organizing committee of students also got an opportunity to learn the management skills including planning, budgeting, multitasking, time management, creativity etc. while executing the event successfully.
Events like Code Hunt, and Break the Query were implemented through in-house mobile applications and software developed by our students. Talking Robot with one hand motion was designed and developed by SE and TE CSE students and earned a lot of praise from all. This time the student pioneered technical competitions “Hack the Box” related to ethical hacking and “Prompt It” related to Chat-GPT.
In the Code Hunt competition, participants have to predict the output of a given code in a given time and that output was the location where the QR Code of the next location had been set. This event encouraged participants to solve coding problems in a fun way. 100 students in various 27 groups participated in the Code Hunt competition. 25 participants of the Break the Query competition understood the database and learnt ways to frame the query which will provide the required result.
To raise awareness about ethical hacking and shell programming, a platform and instructions were provided to learn them in an innovative way i.e. a competition “Hack the Box”. 10 participants enjoyed a thrilling experience. The Prompt It competition tested the searching skills of participants to search an accurate information from Chat GPT provided by the committee. 47 students participated in the Prompt It competition. The students who wanted to test their sports and spontaneous skills, few funny game like Futsal, Mini Battles, and Balloon Blast were held.
The two-day event was successfully conducted by the ACSES committee members due to their teamwork, dedication and proper planning. Mr. K. Giriprasath and Ms. Mihika Bhatkar were the coordinators of the technical event. Prof. A. N. Shetye was the faculty coordinator. The program was organized and conducted under the guidance of HoD.
