Teachers’ Day Celebration by Chemical Engineering Department
Association of Chemical Engineering Students celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5thSeptember 2023 to express gratitude and appreciation to the teachers. Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of Independent India, on his birth anniversary, 5th September.
The program started with the lightening of lamp and teachers were felicitated by ACES student members. As a token of gratitude from students, plant saplings were given to all faculty members. Faculty members shared their views on the occasion of teachers’ day. Mr Nilesh Gurav, ACES Head, presented a beautiful poem dedicated to all teachers. Ms Shravani Vichare, a second year student, expressed her views about teachers on this occasion.
Ms Samiya Shivkar, ACES Girls representative hosted the event successfully. The event was coordinated by Prof. R. K. Marag under the guidance of Dr. N. G. Kanse, Head of the Department. Mr. Pranav Date, a third-year student gave the vote of thanks. The program attended by 32 students and department staff.
