Mr. Sangram Shinde, the branch manager OF TJSB Bank, delivered a talk on ‘Cashless banking’ whereas, Mr. Swapnil Sawant and Mr. Ravindra Bhowad from ANULOM NGO delivered a talk on Government Schemes to common people through mobile application. The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension conducted the lecture on 9th February, 2017 for the students of all DLLE registered students. The session was inaugurated with introductory address by Prof. M. N. Tagare, Dean Students Affairs.
During the session Shri Shinde highlighted the importance of cashless system and its impact over reducing the black money from the country. He narrated the need of use of different modes of digital / cashless transactions like NEFT, cheques, different apps etc. With examples, he explained how common people are robbed by getting the secret information (account number, card number, PIN etc.) over telephone. He congratulated FAMT for taking part in such a noble activity.
Over 200 students from various branches took part in this training. Prof. Y.A.Landge, DLLE faculty incharge, Prof. H. V. Chavan, Prof. H. S. Bodas, Prof. P. S. Bandagale, Prof. S. S. Kadlag, Prof. S. S. Wamane and Prof. P.P. Thakur coordinated the event. Mr. Sagar Petkar, Mr. Omkar Pol & Mr. Sumit Ambre worked as a Student Coordinators for DLLE. Prof. Y. A. Landge concluded the session with vote of thanks.
