Seminar on Career Opportunities in Chemical Industry
The Department of Chemical Engineering organized a Seminar on Career Opportunities in Chemical Industry on 1st April 2022. Mr Nitin Patil, Alumnus of the Chemical Engineering Department working in Reliance Life Sciences Ltd. was invited to interact with the Second, Third and Final Year Chemical Engineering students, to choose the best sector in the chemical industry to decide the career path for their future.
The seminar was arranged in collaboration with the Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr Nitin Kanse and Prof. Prashant Giri. Mr Nitin Patil shared his journey in FAMT and elaborated on the importance of academics for further growth in the industry. He also enlightened students about off-campus placement opportunities and achieving their personal goals.
The third-year Chemical Engineering students coordinated the event successfully. Ms Purva Vanjari, Mr Sunil Charavande and Mr Owais Mulla hosted the program. The faculty members of Chemical Engineering Department also attended the seminar. The seminar was attended by 49 students and was coordinated successfully by Prof. Prashant Giri.
