HOPE Foundation and Research Centre has formally signed a partnership agreement with IEEE India Council, WIE Affinity Group, IEEE Pune Council and has instituted two awards in honour of Late Shri P. P. Chhabria, our Founder President.
The official announcement was made on 16th December, 2017 at the IEEE INDICON held at IIT Roorkee. The evening began with the signing of the partnership agreement by Dr. Sivaji Chakravorti, Chairperson IEEE India Council, Prof. Rajesh Ingle, Chairman, IEEE R10 (Asia Pacific) Student Activities Committee and on behalf of our trust, Ms Amrita Katara, Managing Trustee HOPE Foundation and Research Centre. Dr. Preeti Bajaj and Dr. Rajashree Jain did the honour of announcing details of the awards.
Details of the Awards:
Award I – BEST FEMALE STUDENT (Final year from Faculty of Science / Technology/ Engineering) which includes:
- A cash prize of INR 1, 25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand only)
- A medal
- A citation
Award II – BEST WOMEN ENGINEER / SCIENTIST / TECHNOCRAT (Working professional – Early Career Stage)
- A cash prize of INR 1, 25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand only)
- A medal
- A citation
