Students of Shri. S. H. Kelkar College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Devgad on Visit to FAMT
Students from Shri S. H. Kelkar College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Devgad, pursuing MCVC (Electronic Technology) course visited the Department of Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, FAMT on 23rd January, 2019. The visit gave additional information to the students on the equipments in laboratories of Engineering College, the experiments that are carried out and the variety of projects that can be designed and developed in these laboratories.
The Head of Electronics Engineering Department, Prof. G. G. Bhide, welcomed the students and briefed them about the department. The students visited Electronics Devices & Circuits Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Analog & Digital Circuits Lab, Instrumentation & Controls Lab and Communication Lab. In each lab, the demonstration of two experiments and equipments like DSO, Function Generator, Microprocessor and Communication Kits were arranged for these students. Besides, project demonstrations were held in each lab by Prof. V. V. Nimbalkar, Prof. A. R. Sutar, Prof. R. B. Ingale, Prof. V. D. Chavan, Mr. B. M. Biradar and Mr. P. S. Sambare for the students on visit. 18 students and two staff members of S.H.K College visited both the departments. The visit concluded by an interaction with students and a talk on various career opportunities and self-employment options available for the students pursuing MCVC (Electronic Technology) course. Prof. V. V. Nimbalkar coordinated the visit.
