Shivjayanti 2025 Celebration at FAMT
The Department of Electrical Engineering at FAMT organized a grand celebration of Shivjayanti 2025 on 19th February 2025 on the campus, with over 200 students participating. The event commenced with the Mashal Daud (Run) from Ratnadurga Fort to FAMT, followed by a Dhol-Tasha performance and a Mashal Rally from the college main gate. The program featured cultural performances, including a Powada by Team Swarsandhya, a skit on Shivaji Maharaj’s thoughts, and concluded with a Pooja and Aarti to honour his legacy.
The event was meticulously coordinated by Miss Shravani Mandake (Cultural Secretary), with General Secretary Shubham Kotwadekar leading the student coordinators for decoration and venue arrangements. Faculty coordinators Prof. Nikhil N. Kasar and Dr. Jayant J. Mane played a vital role in overseeing the event’s success. The event highlighted Shivaji Maharaj’s leadership and strategic vision, inspiring students to imbibe his values of courage and discipline.
The Department extends its gratitude to the management for financial support and to Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad for his encouragement. The event successfully fostered a sense of pride, patriotism, and cultural awareness among students, making it a memorable celebration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s enduring legacy.
