“Session on Training and Placement Activities for Industry Readiness”
The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department organized a session on “Training and Placement activities for Industry Readiness” on 15/12/2022 for Direct Second Year (DSE) students AY2022-23 of the department. A total of 36 DSE students attended this session.
Prof. Kishore Bhosale, Head of FAMT Training and Placement Cell, FAMT Ratnagiri conducted this session coordinated by Prof. Pratik Kambale (Assistant TPO, FAMT) and Prof. Onkar Dike (Head IIIC, FAMT).
Event Objectives:
1. To impart knowledge about Training and Placement Activities
2. To create awareness about Industry Readiness
3. To understand the importance of soft skills, communication and ethics
Dr Sharada V Chougule (HOD, EXTC) shared an introductory address explaining in brief, the objectives of organizing the session. Prof. Kishore Bhosale (Head TPO) interacted with students on the following points:

Prof. Pratik Kamble (Assistant TPO, FAMT) discussed company-specific training and the process of campus drives.
Prof. Onkar Dike (Head IIIC, FAMT) interacted with students about alumni involvement in these activities, the importance of industry internships and industry visits.
Dr Sharada V. Chougule, Head of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department encouraged students for active involvement in training and placement activities and also proposed a vote of thanks for resource persons and team members.
